Unrecognized Boards
It has come to our attention that several unrecognized education boards are operating without proper
accreditation. The public is hereby informed that certificates issued by such boards may not be valid
for further education or employment purposes.
Important Points to Note:
1.
Verify Recognition: Before enrolling in any school or institution, ensure that the education board is recognized by the relevant government authorities.
2.
Check Accreditation: A list of officially recognized education boards is available on the Website: www.cobseindia.org.in
3.
Avoid Fraudulent Institutions: Unrecognized boards often issue fake certificates, which may not be accepted by universities, employers, or government agencies.
4.
Legal Consequences: Institutions operating under unrecognized boards may face legal action. Parents and students are advised to exercise caution.
5.
It is also informed that private boards without approval / registration cannot affiliate an institution/ school. They cannot issue certificates of qualification, especially of class X and class XII. Class X and XII certificates can only be issued by and under the seal of a board duly established by an Act of Parliament/ State Legislature or by an Executive Order of the Central/ State government.
6.
Report Suspicious Boards: If you come across any unverified education board, report it to the concerned authorities immediately OR mail us to info@cobseindia.org.in
